The Certificate Program in Organic Agriculture at the University of Georgia will provide you with the scientific foundations and practical experiences necessary to understand organic agriculture production in the southeastern United States, particularly the state of Georgia. TheProgram is open to currently enrolled UGA students as well as those individuals whowish to enroll at UGA specifically to receive the Organic Agriculture Certificate. To complete the certificate,students take four required courses that include both theoretical and practical implications of organic production, and will choose 6 credit hours of electives from a list of complementary courses that will be tailored to meet specific interests.
